Tips & Tricks

For Better Image Quality:

  • When converting from one format to another, use the highest quality setting if file size is not a concern.
  • For web use, a quality setting of 80-90% usually provides a good balance between quality and file size.
  • PNG is best for images with text, logos, or transparent backgrounds.
  • WebP offers the best compression to quality ratio for web use, but check browser compatibility for your audience.

For Faster Processing:

  • Resize large images before cropping them for quicker processing.
  • When batch converting multiple files, keep the file size under 10MB each for optimal performance.
  • Close other browser tabs and applications to free up system resources.

For Social Media:

  • Always use the recommended dimensions for each platform to avoid automatic cropping.
  • Keep important elements centered to ensure they remain visible in thumbnails.
  • Test your images on both mobile and desktop views before publishing.
